Project Overview
The Career Gardeners project aims to directly tackle the challenges faced by young Europeans in merging their career aspirations with personal values and environmental sustainability goals. By developing a suite of resources including an interactive eLearning course, a comprehensive web toolkit, and engaging workshops, the project offers pragmatic tools for youth workers and educators. These tools are designed to support young people in making informed decisions that align with their personal beliefs and the demands of the global job market.
The initiative is a collaborative effort, drawing on the expertise and experiences of partners across Austria, Bulgaria, Italy, Poland, Spain and Ireland. This approach ensures the development of materials that are culturally sensitive and broadly applicable. The direct involvement of young people in the project's design and feedback processes ensures that the outputs are not only practical but also resonate with the target audience's needs and expectations. Furthermore, the project seeks to foster a community among youth workers and educators across Europe, providing them with the resources to effectively guide young individuals towards fulfilling and sustainable careers. By doing so, Career Gardeners hopes to contribute to the broader goal of integrating sustainability into career planning at a foundational level, preparing the next generation for the challenges of the future job market.
